CERN is an international research organization in basic physics, where Norway is one of 23 member countries. The organization is located on the border between France and Switzerland, just outside Geneva. Despite the research and physics character, most people who work here are engineers or technically educated, and the positions span many disciplines.

Finding vacancies is not always easy if you do not know CERN well in advance. There are several different programs for students, temporary staff etc, and everything is mixed up on CERN's internal recruitment pages. Therefore, this page is an attempt to make it a little easier for Norwegians looking for work to find their way in the jungle.
